(Ashoora) 42 : 52

And just like that We have inspired to you a Spirit from Our Command; you were not knowing what the Book is, nor what belief is, but We made It a Light with which We guide, from Our servants, whom We intend; and indeed, you are guiding them into the Straightpath.

What is meant by Spirit, Command, Light, etc., is Adhikr—the Straightpath—as explained in verse 1: 5. Since it is told, “with which We guide, from Our servants, whom We intend,” none will be guided without utilizing Adhikr, which is the Permission of the Lord to become a believer. Since the Messenger was calling mankind to Allah and to His single party—as mentioned in verse 58: 22—with Adhikr—which is the Wise Reminder mentioned in verse 3: 58—the believer should also do so. And the Fujjar who are calling mankind to different organizations of Fujjar are calling to the different parties of Satan as mentioned in verse 58: 19; they are all true disbelievers as told in verses 4: 150-151, and Mushriks as told in verses 30: 30-32. Since Adhikr is codified as a Book today, whoever holds fast to It has held fast to the Lord and is guided into the Straightpath, as explained in verses 3: 101; 4: 174-175 and 5: 48. Since there is no group of believers anywhere in the world, the odd believer should follow the mode of prayer and lifestyle explained in verses 7: 205-206. See explanation 12: 208; 16: 2, 125 and 39: 23.
